Product Details
Carlube Triple R 15W-40 R-Tec 35 has been thoroughly tested against American and European industry-wide specifications and criteria to provide reassuring and reliable engine protection and performance within the recommended oil drain intervals.

With especially strong wear protection as proven in cylinder wear tests, Carlube Triple R 15W-40 R-Tec 35 provides peace of mind for trouble-free motoring, with 64% less cylinder wear than the ACEA A3/B4 test limit requires.

Carlube Triple R 15W-40 R-Tec 35 is ideal for fleet owners where mixed vehicle types and brands are in use, due to the convenience of approvals including ACEA A3/B4 and API SN. All of these feature heavily in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements as per vehicle handbook recommendations.

Tested at temperatures as low as -42°C, Carlube Triple R 15W-40 R-Tec 35 performs in cool climates when engines are at the most risk. It remains viscous and fluid and able to flow to the most vulnerable areas of an engine during the cold winter months in Northern Europe and beyond.

Guidance

Changing your engine oil depends on the type of vehicle, the mileage, driving styles and driving conditions. Always consult and follow your manufacturer’s manual for the best guidance on when to change your engine oil and what type of oil to use.

If necessary, you can check the oil level and easily top up your engine oil.

Ensure your car is on level ground, and the engine is cool and not running, simply open the bonnet, locate the bright handle of your oil dipstick and gently pull the dipstick.

Clean the dipstick to identify the oil level markers then fully reinsert the dipstick and pull it out once more. The oil shown on the dipstick should sit between the high and low markers.

If your oil is below the low marker, you should top up with the manufacturer’s recommended engine oil grade and specifications.

Alternatively, you can book your vehicle for an oil change at your local garage.
