Carlube Triple R 5W-20 R-Tec 14 is a fully synthetic engine oil specially formulated for the Ford EcoBoost engine. It helps to improve fuel economy, reduce friction and wear and provide increased protection from cold start to high-temperature driving.
Carlube Triple R 5W-20 R-Tec 14 meets the Ford M2C948-B specification, which is primarily designed for the 1.0 litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and offers backwards compatibility.
This stringent specification also includes in-house tests for fuel economy and piston deposit control. Engine oils that meet this specification must provide a 0.9% fuel economy improvement over regular 5W-20 oils during testing. Carlube Triple R 5W-20 R-Tec 14 reduces internal friction within the engine in order to deliver full power, while at the same time generating fuel savings.
As a lighter viscosity engine oil, Carlube Triple R 5W-20 R-Tec 14 provides faster flow to engine parts even at low temperatures due to its extreme fluidity. This will result in reduced metal-to-metal contact and continuous oil flow around the engine.

If necessary, you can check the oil level and easily top up your engine oil.
Ensure your car is on level ground, and the engine is cool and not running, simply open the bonnet, locate the bright handle of your oil dipstick and gently pull the dipstick.
Clean the dipstick to identify the oil level markers then fully reinsert the dipstick and pull it out once more. The oil shown on the dipstick should sit between the high and low markers.
If your oil is below the low marker, you should top up with the manufacturer’s recommended engine oil grade and specifications.
